Internet Café is a Dutch - Sri Lankan partnership and was opened on the 18th of November 2000 and is
situated right on the beach. Surfcity has nine spacious double rooms with
attached bathroom, a restaurant on the beach and an Internet café.
Unawatuna
is a popular tourist destination, laid back with many backpackers to enjoy the
beautiful beach. It has a local community with approx 2000 inhabitants.
Many people live of the tourists: guesthouses, restaurants, crafts people,
jewellery etc.
