Surfcity Internet Café guesthouse on the beach in Unawatuna

Surfcity Internet Café is a Tourist Board approved guesthouse right on the beach in Unawatuna, Sri Lanka. Surfcity Internet Café is a Dutch - Sri Lankan partnership and was opened on the 18^th of November 2000 and is situated right on the beach. Surfcity has nine spacious double rooms with attached bathroom, a restaurant on the beach and an Internet café. 

Unawatuna is a popular tourist destination, laid back with many backpackers to enjoy the beautiful beach. It has a local community with approx 2000 inhabitants. Many people live of the tourists: guesthouses, restaurants, crafts people, jewellery etc. 

Our restaurant is serving a great variety of mainly western and vegetarian dishes: Greek salad, Irish Beef Stew, Italian Pasta, Arabic bread and hummus, guacamole and Dutch Coffee.

We bake our own whole meal and rye bread, Ciabatta and French bread in a stone oven in Galle. We also recommend our seafood dishes, always delicious and fresh from the ocean.
